| Craft Waterford Homecrafts Fair

This workshop was held in July 2004 and explored the simple pottery techniques used in Ireland and Europe in prehistoric times. Participants experimented with various clay mixes and fired the wares in an open bonfire, a method that is still used in some parts of the world. |
For
over 20 years, Waterford Homecrafts has supported craft workers
in Waterford and beyond, providing quality crafts for many discerning
patrons. Its members display a wide range of craftwork for sale
during this four-day craft fair. Items for sale will include artwork
in various media, bags, baskets, candles, ceramics, clocks, chess
sets, decoupage, greeting cards, hand painted lampshades and cushions,
knitted soft toys, jewellery, mirrors, silk scarves, stained glass,
wall hangings and wood crafts.
