RedBack is a meditation on a murder apparently committed on impulse. It sets out to examine the various forces at play. How does family life shape one's psyche? How does one's struggle with sexuality manifest itself? How does drug usage influence one's behaviour?

Jim Daly began writing in the early eighties. His first published work was a short story called "The Last Hour". His first stage work was a short play called 'The Land of Stuff'. He has since written three other plays, 'Fair Play, Foul Play', 'Black Veil' and Instant Mash".

Pat Daly is one of the most exciting playwrights to emerge in recent years. His recent work 'Urbs Intacta Manet' won critical acclaim and played to packed houses throughout its run. His other plays include "The Pilferers", premiered by Red Kettle Theater Company in 1999.
