Earl Okin at The Forum | April 27th 2007 | Festival Fundraiser
"a rare performers ... a true original !! Genuinely versatile, his talents range from that of a fine Singer-Songwriter, to that of Pianist, Guitarist, world class Jazz-Singer, as well as his unique standing as ' Vocal Trumpeter, Trombonist and Clarinetist'."
Earl Okin has performed his one man show over 500 shows at the Edinburgh festival, asked back each year for 18 years until 2000. His shows combine beautiful bossa nova style jazz together with his very funny and bold comedy.
Earl has performed alongside everyone from Paul McCartney and Van Morrison to Benny Carter, Stephane Grappelli and Cleo Laine. Festivals appearances include The Guinness International Jazz Festival, The Bracknell Blues & Jazz Festival and the Edinburgh International Jazz Festival.
Added to all of this is his Humour, sophisticated and witty enough to have made him perhaps the leading music & Comedy act on the unforgiving London Alternative Comedy Circuit! London venues including The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The London Palladium, Wembley Arena, The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and The Barbican.
